Ethel Ferguson, a resident at Heritage Hill Senior Community in Weatherly, recently celebrated her 94th birthday.

Ethel was born in Philadelphia on May 11, 1920.She resided in Delaware County until 2006.Ethel graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1938.In 1941 she married her high school sweetheart Russell Ferguson. Ethel says they shared 65 wonderful years together.Ethel has two children, Michael from Glen Mills, and Russell from Lehighton.She also has five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Upon retiring Ethel and Russell were very active, traveling to Florida every year.She says their biggest joy in life, however, was spending time with their grandchildren.Ethel now enjoys making new friends and listening to music at Heritage Hill.
