Mahoning Township Police Department issued 23 aggressive driving-related citations during a recent Aggressive Driving Special Project enforcement initiative Thursday.

The project was coordinated through PennDOT's PA Aggressive Driving Enforcement and Education Project and involves conducting targeted enforcement on roadways which data shows have Aggressive Driving-related concerns.The effort supplements Mahoning Township Police Department regular enforcement, with a combination of, earned media, public awareness, and possibly low cost engineering, to reduce the overall number of aggressive driving crashes, injuries and deaths.Results were:Two people were cited for driving with a suspended license.One person was cited for failing to secure a child in a car seat,Twenty people were cited for speeding.
