Tamaqua man's bail reduced

A Schuylkill County judge has reduced the bail of a Tamaqua man charged with forgery.

Judge James Goodman on June 6 granted Jonathan A. Miller's request, reducing his bail to $500 percentage, meaning he has to post $50 to gain his freedom. Previously, it had been set at $5,000 percentage.However, Goodman ordered Miller, 33, to live at 127 Owl Creek Road, and not move without court permission. Miller must also seek gainful employment.According to court records, Miller was charged by Tamaqua police on March 14 with three counts of forgery and one count of theft by deception.Details of the arrest were unavailable.
