The semifinals of the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission (ESRC) Summer Basketball League were played Monday night, and it was both lower seeds pulling off upset wins to set up the finals of E Mortgage Management vs. Vesuvio's.

Monday's Results#2 Batter's Box-#3 E Mortgage ManagementE Mortgage Management exploded right from the start as they built a 38-19 halftime lead en route to a 62-53 victory over two-seeded Batter's Box.Jeremy Frey and Cory Houser both led E Mortgage Management with 19 points each with Houser hitting a three and scoring 17 of his 19 in the first half, and Frey knocking down three three-pointers and going four for four from the free throw line with 14 of his 19 coming in the latter half.Batter's Box ended their season on a strong comeback effort with Dylan Mahmod scoring a team high 15 points with 13 and three threes coming late in the game.#1 Vesuvio's-#4 Martin's PrintingThe defending champion and No. 1 seed Vesuvio's was ousted by league scoring leader Ethan Eichhorst and Martin's Printing 69-56.Eichhorst continued his high scoring season with 27 points and clutch free throw shooting (7-7) to ice the game late.
