The Slatington Lions Club held its installation of officers recently at the Skeet Club in Slatington.
Members would like to thank all the people that have supported them in their money raising projects.Events include Comedy Night, held the first Saturday in March at the Emerald Fire Company; the Community Steak Fry, held the fourth Saturday in June at the Slatington Skeet Club; the Annual Car Show, held the Sunday before Labor Day at the Slatington Airport; and its Christmas Tree sales, held at the Slatington Trailhead, starting the Saturday after Thanksgiving.Through the support of those projects, the Slatington Lions Club was able to donate $30,365 in 2013 to various organizations.
