A water line break on Bowe Street in Tamaqua early Saturday morning made for a very long day for employees of the Tamaqua Area Water Authority. Just hours before the line broke shortly after midnight Friday, the crew and equipment were busy removing snow from borough streets. Repairs took approximately six hours to complete. The crew finished the repairs and then went back to the job of snow removal. Tamaqua Public Works Director Rob Jones notes there is a water boil advisory issued for the residents of Bowe Street, in the area of the leak.
