Mallard Markets of Lehighton has donated $1,048.34 to the Trinity Lutheran Food Bank in Lehighton. Frank Kuhn, president of Mallard Markets, said the money was through donations from customers as well as a contribution of $500 directly from the business. He said the odd figure came as a result of customers saying "keep the pennies, keep the change. We incorporate this change into the various donations we make." Ron Long said the food bank serves 450 to 500 families in the Lehighton Area School District each month.
