Michael Ricky Coulson, 49, of Palmerton, is facing charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct as a result of an incident at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday in the area of 140 Gravel Lane, Palmerton.

State police at the Lehighton barracks said they were summoned to that area for a report of an out-of-control male. Police said they observed him in an intoxicated state, hiding at a neighbor's property.Police said he was taken into custody based on a warrant issued against him in Jim Thorpe. After being issued the two citations, he was released to Jim Thorpe police.
