Jim Thorpe team wins Sixth Sense competition

Jim Thorpe's Sixth Sense team rallied last night and won the 2014 championship finals held at Panther Valley High School.

The Olympians team got off to a slow start and was losing in the beginning of the contest against Panther Valley, but moved forward to beat Pleasant Valley in the finals.Coached by faculty members Heidi Seiwell and Sue Becker, the team competed twice in the finals against Pleasant Valley to win the show.Pleasant Valley won second place and Panther Valley finished in third place.Panther Valley alumni were coaching various teams. Heidi Seiwell of Jim Thorpe, Nadia Gauronsky of Pleasant Valley, and Mark Lavine of Panther Valley all graduated from the host high school.Lavine served as coordinator.
