State police at Lehighton reported investigating the following burglaries.

A residence at 465 Stage Coach Road East, in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, was entered on Sunday, Sept. 23, between 10 and 11 a.m. Entry was gained by forcing a rear door. Once inside the criminals proceeded to take miscellaneous gold jewelry and gold watches.

A suspect vehicle was observed in front of the home about 10:40 a.m. and a middle aged white male, with a brown beard, was observed on the front porch of the residence, troopers said.

A entry occurred at 851 Carney Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County, through a rear door. Once inside the criminals removed a 46-inch television, credit cards, checks, clock radio, and tools. The entry occurred sometime between Sept. 7 and 9, troopers said.

The property is owned by Scott C. Hallett, 39, of Tamaqua.

Troopers are investigating a break-in at 4940 Queens Way, Kunkletown, Polk Township, the property of Frances C. Ferguson, 70.

Entry was gained through a barthroom window. Once inside the criminals removed a 53-inch television, Dell laptop computer, and a large picture.

The incident occurred sometime between Aug. 22 and Sept. 16.
