The Carbon County Penn State Master Gardeners will host an open house to see the new pollinator garden at the extension office, located at 529 Lentz Trail, Jim Thorpe. The open house will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14.

During the open house, guests can learn how to attract butterflies and make their own bee house; as well as learn about pollination and how the process is vital to today's food supply.The event is free and open to the public.
