State police at Lehighton reported on two driving under the influence (DUI) arrests.
On March 7 about 8:23 p.m. troopers stopped Leo Thomas Fochtman, 24, of Lehighton, along Delaware Avenue in Palmerton for vehicle code violation.
A further investigation determined that Fochtman was allegedly operating his vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance. He was also found to have in his possession suspected marijuana and related drug paraphernalia.
On Saturday, March 9, about 2:02 a.m. troopers stopped Joshua A. Maisonet, 31, of Effort, for traffic violations along Lower Middle Creek Road, in Polk Township, Monroe County.
He was found to be under the influence and will be charged, troopers said.
