Michael Blacketter, age 14, of Lehighton and Jennifer Shober, age 25, of Andreas, were the top overall male and female winners in the 7th Annual Zoostock Challenge 5k Run/Walk, recently.

This year, over 75 participants took on the 3.1-mile course that stretched through the streets of Lansford, ending at The Sports Zoo and Halftime Bar Zoo Crew.The run/walk was followed by award presentations and a food fest inside. Cancer survivors were also honored during the event. Post-race entertainment was provided by Cody Sassaman of Tamaqua.The event is in conjunction with the Sports Zoo and Halftime Sport's Bars efforts to benefit the Carbon-Tamaqua unit of the American Cancer Society.The results were as follows:Overall - Male, Michael Blacketter (19:17); Female, Jennifer Shober (23:36).Overall - Male, 2.
