State police at Frackville said a wanted sex offender has been located and jailed.

Troopers said James Elijah Dickson, 43, also known as Elijah Dickson, was released from the state correction institution at Mahanoy on Jan. 13 after completing Megan's Law paperwork. Dickson listed a Philadelphia address as his residence. It was later learned that the residence listed had been abandoned.Dickson failed to report his actual current address within the required 72 hours. A search then began and he was later found and placed in the county prison in Pottsville.Troopers said Dickson is a sexual violent predator and is subject to lifetime registration under Megan's Law.
