A Barnesville man has been cited by Ryan Township Police following a vehicle stop on Dec. 29.

Patrolman Adam Sinton was on patrol at 11:28 p.m., along SR54, when he stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.While speaking with the driver, Officer Sinton noticed several signs of possible intoxication.The driver, identified as John Grutza, 35, was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South for blood tests. The results indicated a blood-alcohol content of .139 percent, almost twice the legal limit of .08.Grutza will be charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, as well as other charges.
