Credit union seeks
The First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, Bethlehem, has filed a breach of contract suit against Kevin Matthew Valera, 31 Hemlock Drive, Jim Thorpe, seeking judgment over default of a security agreement.
The suit states the credit union financed the defendant's purchase of a 2004 Tracker boat, 2004 Mercury motor and a 2006 Trail Star trailer by virtue of a security agreement between the defendant and Boat and RV Superstore dated May 20, 2013 and that the defendant failed to make payments for more than five months.
The credit union is seeking judgment in the amount of $21,059.58 plus continuing interest, attorney's fees and costs.
Portfolio Recovery Associates, LLC, Norfolk, Va., has filed a civil action against Larry Medico, 1469 Hudson Drive, Weatherly, alleging credit default.
The suit contends Medico was indebted to HSBC Bank Nevada, N.A./Best buy/MBNA or S & H Greenpoints on Oct. 19, 2007, and has failed to make payment on the account that has a remaining balance of $5,862.19. Portfolio is seeking judgment in that amount, plus the costs of the suit and other relief as the court deems just and reasonable.
