A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Monday following a domestic dispute.

State police at Frackville said the incident occurred at N. Fifth Avenue, in Barnesville, Ryan Township, about 5 p.m. Troopers said John Cambra, 51, and his girlfriend, identified as a 43-year-old female, were involved in a verbal dispute which turned phsyical. Cambra allegedly made physical contact with the female causing minor injuries.He was charged with simple assault and arraigned before District Judge David Plachko, of Port Carbon. He was committed to the county prison in Pottsville after failing to post 10 percent of $25,000 bail.
