A Schuylkill County driver has been cited after her vehicle struck two parked vehicles. State police at Frackville said the accident occurred about 9:37 a.m. on Aug. 16, at Broad and Pine streets, in the Arnots Addition section of New Castle Township.

Troopers said Elsie Herman, 78, of Saint Clair, was driving a 2009 Hyundai Elantra while attempting to turn left onto Pine from Broad, when she cut the turn close. Her car glanced off a parked 1985 Ford F150 truck. The front of the Elantra then collided into the rear of a parked 2002 Dodge Dakota truck, pushing it into the street.Herman was not injured. The Elantra and Dakota had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Herman for required position and method of turning.
