Rush Township police responded March 17 to a domestic dispute at a home on Clarryan Street in Hometown.

This resulted in the arrest of Joseph P. Kmetz, 42, of Hometown, who was charged with simple assault and harassment.He was arraigned before on-call District Judge Anthony Kilker, Shenandoah, and lodged in the Schuylkill County prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
