Lehighton had five players score in doubles figures as it breezed to a 77-55 consolation game victory over Palmerton.

Tyler Crum paced the Indians with 17 points while Anthony Rossino and Jacen Nalesnik each tallied 14. Lehighton (5-4) also received 13 points from Jordan Knappenberger and 12 from Vince Mele.

For the Bombers (0-7), Spencer Hay finished with a team-high 17 points.

A strong third quarter helped Northwestern pull away for a 45-30 non-conference victory over visiting Whitehall.

The Tigers' Sara Jones scored six of her game-high 18 points in the third while Sabrina Mertz netted six of her 10 points in the same quarter. Trista Cunningham also hit double figures with 10.

Panther Valley avenged an early-season loss to Shenandoah Valley by defeating the Sun Devils, 34-29, in the Senator Rhodes Tournament.

Sam Zlock had 11 points to pace the Panthers, who suffered a 21-point loss to Shenandoah in their season opener.

Panther Valley has now won six of its last seven games and improves to 6-3 on the season.

Jim Thorpe's Ryan Ruberto recorded four pins on his way to a 4-1 record at the Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament. The Olympians finished sixth as a team.

Brian Ohl (145) also had a 4-1 mark for the Olympians, picking up a tech fall, two decisions and a forfeit. Kyle Morales (126) also finished 4-1, recording one pin.

Olympians who posted a 3-2 mark on the day were Kevan Gentile (106), Johnathan Condly (113), Tyler Andrew (182) and Jedidiah Scorzelli (195).
