The engagement of Marie Jamie Geiger, Palmerton, to Cody Grant Fluke, New Ringgold, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Steven and Laurel Geiger of Palmerton. She is a 2003 graduate of Palmerton Area High School and a 2009 graduate of Marywood University where she earned a master of science in physician assistant studies.She is employed at Northwestern Medical Center in New Tripoli.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Victor and Terry Fluke of New Ringgold. He is a 2005 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a 2007 graduate of Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he earned an associate degree in applied science in automobile technology.He is employed by Feinour's Automotive in New Tripoli.A wedding date has been set for Oct. 27, 2012.
