ANDREW LEIBENGUTH/TIMES NEWS After missing the southbound SR309 detour in Tamaqua Sunday night, a confused driver of a tractor trailer accidentally drove over and destroyed a newly installed pedestrian crosswalk light and damaged the side of the Golden Spike Inn as he turned off of SR309 onto Spruce Street. Responding were borough workers, PennDOT employees, police, firefighters and fire police. No injuries were reported.
