State police at Fern Ridge said an unknown man entered the store of K.B. Brothers, located along SR209 at Weir Lake Road, Brodheadsville, on Friday, July 8, at 4:25 a.m., pointed a handgun at the store employee and demanded money.

No one was injured during the attempted holdup, according to troopers.
