State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating the theft of a large quantity of valuable electrical cables from a site in Schuylkill County.

Troopers said a trailer owned by Harlan Electrical Construction Company, of Tremont, was entered while parked at 297 SR209, in Tremont Township. Entry was gained by breaking the lock.Removed was 35 to 50-foot electrical ground cables valued at $35,000. The cables were located on the left and right shelves of the trailer.The incident occurred sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, and 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
