Jim Thorpe police reported the arrest of a borough resident.

Police said about 7:15 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, officers were called to Twining Park, located along E. Front St., for an unresponsive male.On scene the male was identified as Raymond R. Donner, of 716 Center St.Donner displayed signs of intoxication and later admitted to consuming 18 beers. Donner was transported to the Lehighton hospital for an evaluation. He was cited for public drunkenness.
