A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) after he was stopped in a sobriety checkpoint operation, which was set up along SR183, in Cressona, Schuylkill County.

About 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, Joseph Krasinsky Jr., 23, of Cressona, was operating a 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and entered the checkpoint area. He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests.He was placed under arrest and transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center South, Pottsville, for a blood test. Troopers said charges will be filed in the case.
