Kimberly Werner marries Phillip Otto

Phillip M. Otto and Kimberly A. Werner renewed their wedding vows in front of family and friends on Nov. 14, 2009, during a wedding affirmation ceremony, held at the Orioles Community Center, Lehighton. They were married by the Rev. Robert vonFrisch in a private ceremony on Aug. 15, 2009 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lehighton.

Rev. vonFrisch officiated at both ceremonies.The bride was escorted by attorney Carole Wildoner-Walbert and her husband Benjamin Walbert.Nidia Whiteman, Lehighton, served as matron of honor, and Kelsey Rebovich, Lehighton, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Susan Maloney, Jada Whiteman, Gretchen Heery, all of Lehighton; and Michele Teresko of Hellertown.The groom was escorted by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Otto. Glenn Whiteman, Lehighton, was best man and Christopher Whiteman of Lehighton was the ring bearer. Ushers were Tom Maloney, Tom Barclay and Matthew Rebovich, all of Lehighton; and Eric Fiore of Whitehall.Sandy Whiteman was the reader, and Bill Schalles was the greeter.Following the candlelight ceremony, the couple celebrated with family and friends at The Orioles.They then honeymooned on a Carnival cruise from Baltimore to Florida and the Bahamas. They now reside in Lehighton.The new Mrs. Otto is a 1985 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. She graduated with a diploma in nursing from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing; earned a BSN from Columbia University in New York; and completed her MSN at the University of Pennsylvania. She has been a certified pediatric nurse practitioner for 18 years, and is employed at St. Luke's Hospital, Coaldale, and at the Rural Health Clinics in Nesquehoning and Hometown.She has started course work for her doctoral degree in nursing practice through the University of Massachusetts.She is also the newly-elected secretary of the Lehighton Democratic Club.Mr. Otto is a 1984 graduate of Lehighton Area High School. He will complete his bachelor of science in psychology from DeSales University in 2010. He is also the newly-elected president of the Lehighton Democratic Club.The newlyweds have four children, Taylor Otto, Kelsey Rebovich, Lauren Rebovich, and Matthew Rebovich. They are also the owners of Otto's PitStop Deli, that will open in Lehighton in early 2010.
