A safe, containing a large amount of cash was reported stolen in Schuylkill County.

State police at Frackville said the home of Cheryl Ann Souchak, 52, of 83 Trenton Rd., Mahanoy Township, was entered and removed was a white safe with black handle, measuring about 12 inches, by 15 inches, and eight inches high. The safe contained about $20,000 in cash, troopers said.The break-in occurred on March 29 between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m.
