BRIEF - nw segan soccer

Segan leads William & Mary in scoring

After an injury in her freshman season, redshirt junior Sarah Segan has put that setback completely behind her.

In her third season on the field this past fall, Segan scored six goals and added four assists for the William & Mary women’s soccer team. Both of those were a team high for The Tribe, and no other player scored more than two goals. She finished with 23 shots on goal.

Segan, a Northwestern High School graduate, now has 24 goals and 10 assists through three seasons, seven of those goals being game-winners. She was named to the All-CCA Second-Team in each of the past two seasons, and it’s likely she’ll end up on another of those teams when announced this season.
