The Lehigh County Authority has received a $2 million loan to replace two high lift pump variable frequency drives and add a third drive.
The project will continue the supply of finished drinking water and ensure appropriate capacity levels are achieved for the supply area.
Gov. Tom Wolf announced the loan as part of a $178 million investment for 14 drinking water, wastewater and stormwater projects across 11 counties through the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority.
