West Penn Fire Station No. 1 responded to a tree down Sunday afternoon. The large tree fell around 3 p.m., blocking Wash Creek road near Dairy Road. Firefighters used chain saws to cut up the tree and remove it from the roadway. COPYRIGHT LARRY NEFF/SPECIAL TO THE TIMES NEWS
