Old Timers ruled at the Palmerton Pool on Saturday at the annual Old Timers Day.

Gretchen Laviolette is the secretary for the Palmerton Pool Board and the Pool Pals chairperson.

“Today we have hot dogs and birch beer for sale,” Laviolette said. “DJ Flatline is playing music from the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s. We are planning to do a relay as well and a decades fashion show.”

They have been doing an Old Timers Day, which is for adults only, at the pool for more than 30 years.

“We try to do at least three special events each year, to reach out to the community,” Laviolette added. “We invite everybody to come out and have fun here at the Palmerton Pool.”
