Begins accident suit

Tara Ferraira, 318 W. Railroad St., Nesquehoning, has started a civil action against Anthony Bekesy, 191 Creekside Manor seeking damages for a motor vehicle tort claim that exceeds the $50,000 limit of arbitration.

The action, started by the filing of a writ of summons in which the details of the claims need not be listed, seeks a jury trial of 12 people.

Confession of judgment

The New Tripoli Bank, Orefield, has filed a confession of judgment against Alexander J. Riepensell, Allentown, asking the court to enter judgment in its favor in the amount of $7,449.09, plus interests and costs.

The pleading states the defendant secured a loan from the bank that is secured by a second mortgage on the defendant’s property at 123 Jamestown St., Lehighton, and has defaulted on the terms of that agreement.

Transcripts of judgments

Judgment awards (transcripts) in their favor have been placed on record by parties of cases heard in the magisterial district judge courts. They include:

• LVNV Funding, LLC, Cannonsburg, recorded a judgment in its favor against Giovanni Roman, 69 Old Stage Road, Albrightsville.

Mortgage foreclosures

Newrez, LLC, doing business as Shellpoint Mortgage Servicing, Greenville, South Carolina, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Susan A. Weber, 523 White St., Bowmanstown, over a property at that address. Sought is judgment in the amount of $125,625.41, plus interest and costs.

Newrez, LLC, also filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Paul J. Sharp and Deanna Sharp, Fayetteville, Arkansas, over a property at 13 Polar Drive, Albrightsville. Sought is judgment in the amount of $53,554.04, plus interest, attorney’s fees and costs.

Specialized Loan Servicing, LLC, Greenwood Village, Colorado, filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Joseph W. Woodward and Sara Lukasevich, 17 E. Fourth St., Jim Thorpe, over a property at 141 Center Ave., Jim Thorpe. Sought is judgment in the amount of $153,443.96, plus interest, attorney’s fees and costs.

Nations Lending Corporation, Independence, Ohio, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Frank G. III and Jacqueline Geil, 335 E. Fell St., Summit Hill, over property at that address. Sought is judgment in the amount of $224,301.91, plus interest, attorney’s fees and costs.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Revenue, has filed state personal income tax liens against the following: Ronald Roldan and Ivette C. The Revenue department also filed a lien against the Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Des Moines, Iowa, over a property at 1469 River Side Borough. The lien is in the amount of $5,084.86.

The Internal Revenue Service has filed federal 1040 tax liens against the following:
