The Sons of American Legion Post 316 continued its mission to make sure needy families have a full table this Thanksgiving.

The organization recently gave $2,000 to the Summit Hill Food Pantry for purchasing turkeys.

Officials said that the money will help cover meals for approximately 80 families.

The SALs aim to help the food pantry annually with turkey donations because members believe everyone should have a meal on Thanksgiving.
