A driver was treated at the scene of a crash Saturday morning in West Penn Township. The crash occurred around 9:30 a.m. as the driver was traveling east on Route 443 just east of Mantzville Road when he lost control, crossing the road and hitting a set of guide rails.

The vehicle continued on coming to rest on its roof in a field.

The driver and a bystander were treated at the scene by members of the Penn Mahoning ambulance and Lehighton paramedics.

Members of the West Penn fire company and fire police shut down the roadway between Mantzville and Cold Spring roads.

West Penn Township police are investigating the incident.
