West Penn archers place in several competitions

The West Penn Archery youth program had a successful season, winning in competitions not only in Pennsylvania but Kentucky, Illinois and Ohio.

At the National Outdoor Target in Fairfield, Ohio, four team members competed along with 400 other archers from across the country.

In the young adult competition, Kaitlin Oswald placed 11th.

In the youth competition, Eva Melochick placed fifth.

In the eagle male event, Levi McCullion placed third, and in the eagle female event Lilly Rodgers was second.

Melochick also took third place in the youth female Shooter of the Year competition. Rodgers was first in the youth eagle female Shooter of the Year competition.

McCullion took first in the eagle male Shooter of the Year.

Lilly Parks took first place in the World 3D shoot in Pittsburgh.

The team is led by Karl Bachert of Quakake.
