St. Luke’s opens Hazleton center

St. Luke’s Health Center-Hazleton is now open.

The 8,600 square-foot facility located at the Church Hill Mall, 1097 N Church St., Hazle Township, now provides access to Care Now (Urgent Care/ Walk-in Services), Occupational Medicine, X-ray, laboratory, primary care and physical therapy services.

The center’s business hours are Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and weekends 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

At a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, St. Luke’s Miners Campus President, Wendy Lazo, thanked the team that planned and prepared the new center.

“This new facility brings much needed, high-quality care to the Hazleton community. As an extension of our St. Luke’s Miners Campus, one of top small community hospitals in the nation, you can expect to receive exceptional care and service at this facility,” she said.

“We are thankful to this community and its leaders for welcoming us to this convenient location, which will make it even easier for busy families in the area to stay healthy.”

According to Robert Dolansky, DO, St. Luke’s Chief of Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine, “This Health Center is yet another way St. Luke’s provides our neighbors easy access to convenient care for minor colds, coughs, bumps and bruises.”

He stressed that patients treated in the Care Now office are then referred back to their primary care provider for any needed follow-up.

St. Luke’s Health Center at Hazleton is accessed through an outside door and the spacious Church Hill Mall walkway.

The Church Hill Mall is located between Routes 309 and 940.
