Job description: Responsible for the day-to-day operations and staffing of the surgical staging, operating room, recovery room and sterile processing departments. I like the teamwork aspect of my job and the close relationships we develop with our surgeons and colleagues. Also, being able to provide a service to patients when they are in need is a great feeling.

How long you have worked there: I have been with the network for eight years. I was a staff nurse at the Tilghman campus for two years, then the Patient Care Specialist for the OR at Cedar Crest and the OR Internship Coordinator.

Background: Associate degree in nursing from Lehigh Carbon Community College, Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cedar Crest College, Master of Nursing and Master of Business Administration/Health Care Management from University of Phoenix.

Family: Husband, Gerald. Sons, Lonnie Behler Jr. and Tobie Behler. Stepdaughters Jessica Tkach and Jasmin Ripkey. Two grandchildren, Lonnie and AJ. We have three Great Danes and a cane corso mastiff.

Hobbies: Racing and hunting.
