Schuylkill County Coroner David Moylan III said he will have confirmation of the Tower City fire victim likely this week.

Moylan said he is waiting on dental records. Schuylkill County Deputy Coroners Albert T. Barnes and John Mika were on scene for the fire at 141 E. Grand Ave. fire Monday.

Moylan said Barnes pronounced the man deceased. Barnes did not return a call for comment. Mika said the man was in his 20s. The name was not released.

The Schuylkill County Communications Center received a call at 2:33 a.m. for the fire.

State Police Public Information Officer David Beohm said Tuesday the fire is likely accidental. He said Fire Marshal John Burns is investigating.
