Man is charged with stalking ex-girlfriend

A Lansford man has been charged with stalking his ex-girlfriend whom he accused of being with other men.

According to the affidavit of probable cause filed by officer Joshua Tom of the Lansford Police Department in the case against Logan Moser:

On Sept. 12, Tom received a dispatch for an unwanted man in the 700 block of East Patterson Street.

This was the second incident that day.

Moser, 20, was walking around the property checking doors and windows because he said his ex-girlfriend (and son’s mother) was with another man.

Moser began screaming and yelling outside the house, and then began kicking the passenger side of a parked 2019 blue Hyundai sedan, causing damage to the rear bumper, rear wheel well, rear passenger side door and front passenger door leaving dents and shoe prints.

Moser said he believed the vehicle belonged to the man he thought was inside the house.

However, the Hyundai sedan had nothing to do with Moser’s ex-girlfriend’s family, and belonged to a woman who was visiting a friend one house up from the complainant.

Moser had for several weeks continuously called, texted, used social media platform and showed up at his ex-girlfriend’s residence.

Moser faces charges of stalking; criminal mischief; harassment; and disorderly conduct.

He is incarcerated in the Carbon County Correctional Facility in lieu of $10,000, 10% monetary bail, and scheduled to have a preliminary hearing Wednesday before District Judge Eric M. Schrantz of Jim Thorpe.

State police cited Moser with harassment by physical contact earlier in the day.
