Emergency personnel were dispatched to a crash Tuesday night in West Penn Township. The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. as the driver was traveling east on Route 895 in the area of the intersection with Dorset Road. When first responders arrived on scene they found a sport utility vehicle had struck a deer. The occupants of the unit were being evaluated by members of the New Ringgold ambulance.
