Schuylkill Haven State Police — crashes

State police at Schuylkill Haven released information on three crashes.

• Two people sustained suspected minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash that was reported at 12:48 a.m. on June 29 along Route 183, in North Manheim Township, Schuylkill County.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Jacob A. Jablonski, 20, of Kendall, New York, was driving a 2007 Toyota Camry westbound while Jacinda O. Sattizahn, 18, of Orwigsburg, was driving a 2006 Ford Escape eastbound.

Jablonski was negotiating a slight right curve when his vehicle crossed the centerline and struck Sattizahn’s vehicle head-on. After impact, the Ford came to rest up an embankment on the south side of the road.

Jablonski was taken to the Lehigh Valley East Hospital, Pottsville, while Sattizahn was taken to Geisinger-St. Luke’s Hospital, Orwigsburg.

• A one-vehicle crash was reported at 11:18 p.m. on June 21 along Route 443 in Pine Grove Township.

Troopers said Maritza Velazquez, 39, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt westbound when she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed into the eastbound lane and then onto the berm where it struck a utility pole with the left side, where it came to rest.

Velazquez was injured and taken to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Pottsville campus. The vehicle had to be towed. She was cited for the crash.

• Another one-vehicle crash occurred about 4:23 p.m. on June 27 along Bethel Road in Pine Grove Township.

Torri H. Robinson, 20, of Pine Grove, was driving a 2012 Toyota Rav4 southbound when he lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the fog line and onto the berm where it struck a utility pole, then came to rest in a grassy area.

Robinson was not injured but the vehicle had to be towed.

He was cited for the crash.
