Police are asking for information regarding an arson in Polk Township on Wednesday.

Crews responded to a vacant home at 8550 Robinhood Drive in Kunkletown’s Robin Hood Lake Estates at 2:15 a.m.

The victim in the fire is listed as a 61-year-old man from Easton, while the nature of the incident is described as arson by state police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police fire marshal in Hazleton at 570-459-3890.

In October, several arsons occurred in the development.

A house caught fire at 8775 Twin Lake Drive in Robin Hood Lakes development.

The fire broke out at the single-story ranch at 1:30 a.m. It had been vacant for several years and was for sale, police said of the property.

The home, valued at $60,000, sustained major damage, but no injuries were reported.

Other Polk arsons were reported on Sept. 11 at 4862 Queens Way, and in July.
