The Carbon County Republican Committee will replace Frank Ruch on the Nov. 5 Municipal Election ballot for school director for Lehighton Area School District by selecting a candidate who has submitted a letter of interest.

Letters may be submitted to Chairman Lee Becker at his email address of leekay@ptd.net or by U.S. mail to CCRC, P.O. Box 266, Lehighton, PA 18235, no later than June 12.

Letters should include a return telephone number, how long the candidate has lived in the Lehighton Area School District, how long the candidate has been a registered Republican, and if selected, his/her top three goals for the board.
