LCCC offers several noncredit classes

Lehigh Carbon Community College will hold a wide variety of noncredit classes this semester. The following classes will all be held at main campus in Schnecksville.

• Learn how to plan a trip and educate yourself with LCCC’s new travel series of classes. Travel Series: Disney Vacation covers topics such as picking the best airline to dining or hotel and resort packages. Learn everything you need to consider for your individual or group’s needs from start to finish. Class will be held Thursdays, Feb. 21 through March 7, from 7 to 8 p.m.; cost is $65.

• If you are planning your first cruise, Travel Series: Cruising will explain about traveling to/from ship, as well as booking a cruise ship with specific amenities, which is the best cruise line to choose when traveling with children or young adults, and what’s included in the price and what’s not. Class will be offered from 7 to 8 p.m. March 21 for a fee of $49.

• Drones 101 teaches FAA regulations and safety rules for flying sUAS, or small Unmanned Aerial Systems, while preparing students for the FAA Remote Pilot Certification. Class will be held on Saturdays, March 9 through April 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. Class fee is $131.

• Learn behind-the-scenes basics of the creative and business aspects in the world of voice-overs in this introductory class — Getting Paid to Talk. Class will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. May 2; course fee is $65.

• Coming new this fall, Equine Management covers boarding, transport and breeding, topics equine managers are responsible for while ensuring the overall well-being of horses in a variety of situations. Included are knowledge of the business side of the occupation, such as managing facilities, schedules and personnel, and taking care of marketing issues and budgets.
