Two men from St. Clair are facing burglary and related charges after an incident at 1:28 p.m. Friday at the New Castle Township garage in the Village of Arnot’s Addition northeast of St. Clair.

Allen Harig, 39, and Max Hollywood, 24, are charged with burglary, trespass, theft and conspiracy.

Police said they entered the garage and took hand tools from a tool chest. Police said a township worker arrived at the scene and confronted them, at which time they ran off. They were apprehended about three blocks from the scene.

Police said Harig had been a summer seasonal employee of the township until last September, and gained access to the garage using a key that he failed to turn over to the township after having been ordered to do so.
