Kyla Rodrigues of Palmerton graduated on May 13 with a bachelor of arts in both accounting and sociology from Moravian College in Bethlehem.

During her time at Moravian, Kyla played field hockey for the Greyhounds all four years, winning Gladiator by SGI Scholar of Distinction and National Field Hockey Academic Squad 2013-2016.She was class ambassador for the Class of 2017 in 2015, 2016 Recipient of The Lucas Accounting Award, 2016/2017 PICPA Multi-Year Scholarship Winner, 2017 Institute of Management Accountants CMA Program Scholarship Winner and 2017 Recipient of The Edwin L. Stockton Prize in Economics and Business.Kyla also took part in the Player Council, Student Athlete Advisory Committee, Moravian STAR 2015-2017, the Accounting Club, Amrhein Investment Club, the Sociology Club and was a freshman year seminar student adviser in 2015 and 2016She is a graduate of Palmerton Area High School.
