Chestnuthill reapproves plans for St. Luke's building

The Chestnuthill supervisors held a brief second monthly meeting on Tuesday evening to reapprove plans for the 715 Professional Building.

The 715 Professional Building will house medical offices for St. Luke's University Health Network at the corner of Routes 209 and 715 in Brodheadsville.The documents that were brought up for approval were both previously approved by the township before a change in the development company. The original documents listed Bermuda Ridge as the developer. BPB Development GP LLC has taken over the project, and as a result all of the documents needed to be revised.The documents approved were the Final Plan, Lot Line Adjustment/Consolidation Plan and the Preliminary/Final Land Development Record Plan. Both documents will now be signed and sent to the planning commission for their signatures as well as being recorded with the county records office.In other business the supervisors opened bids for tree cutting. The bid Priority Roads bid went to Klingels Tree Service with a bid of $20,250 for parts of Route 715 up to Silver Valley Road, Effort Neola Road up to Cottontail Lane and for Top of Hill to Merwinsburg Road.A second bid for Merwinsburg Road was awarded to Mr. Outdoor Tree Service in the amount of $5,600.The township will be advertising for bids for a salt shed with plans to open the bids at 7:30
