Remembering their hometown

Army Reserve Ambassador George H. Duell Jr., a senior representative of the U.S. Army Reserve in Pennsylvania, recently attended the National Army Reserve Ambassadors Conference in Arlington, Virginia.

One of the presenters was Sgt. Maj. of the Army Daniel A. Dailey, a Palmerton native and the senior noncommissioned officer in the U.S. Army.Following his presentation, Duell presented him with a framed photo of the Vietnam Moving Wall when Palmerton hosted it in July.Dailey plans to display the framed photo in his office in the Pentagon.Both will be part of the Carbon County Veterans Day Parade to be held in Palmerton onNov. 6.Dailey will serve as grand marshal for the event.
