Isabella Joyel Uber, 18, of Tamaqua, competed Aug. 14 and Aug. 15 in the National American Miss pageant in Harrisburg at the Hilton Harrisburg & Towers. She participated in the Miss Teen age division.

Isabella is the daughter of Heather Smith and Steve Llewellyn of Tamaqua. She is a senior at the PA Virtual Charter School.Isabella's activities include writing, reading, biking, mixed martial arts, camping, volunteering, hiking and swimming.She enjoys helping others, including the elderly, veterans and the disabled.
